The Importance of Quality
Concrete is one of the most widely used materials in the world, with almost one tonne of concrete produced for every human on the planet each year. Twice as much concrete is used in construction than the combined total of all other building materials, including wood, steel, plastic and aluminium.
The concrete industry therefore has an enormous responsibility to ensure that the production, transportation and final use of concrete products has as little impact on the environment as possible, whilst maintaining an excellent safety record.
In today's Health & Safety conscious environment it is important to remember that quality and safety must extend beyond the product itself and include best practise. It is because of this that Halfen offer extensive guidance by way of design software and support to ensure that only the correct products are selected and used for any particular project to ensure the safety reputation of British Precast is maintained.

The Frimeda TPA system consists of a ring clutch with a "hook" which engages with the "eye" of the cast-in anchor by sliding through into position. The system makes it easy to identify visually if the system is engaged or not.
As with the TPA, the Deha KKT system consists of a ring clutch and cast-in anchor. The Deha anchor when cast in, leaves a "pin" head visible, which the lifting clutch simply rotates over, at the same time engaging fully with the pin.
