26 WALL TIES FOR

Halfen range of masonry ties for tying two leaves of masonry together or tying masonry back to a structure, incorporates HTS channel ties, cavity ties, frame cramps and special ties, designed for strength and to provide a good bond with mortar. Hammer-set wire ties are an economical design for use where the inner leaf has been built ahead of the outer leaf, or brickwork is to be tied back to an existing structure

HTS-B Channel Ties
For tying masonry back to concrete, steel or masonry. Comprising a dovetail tie, where one end is bedded into the mortar joint and the other end slotted into a Halfen brick-tie channel section designed to be fixed back or cast into the structure. The tie is also available debonded, with a plain end, with or without plastic sleeve, for shear load applications.

HTS-E ties - multi drip, strip tie.

HTS-F Frame Cramps
For tying masonry to a structure with or without a cavity, eg where blockwork abuts a concrete column. Often used to fix new brick/blockwork to an existing structure, or in remedial work where ties have corroded or been omitted. They are also available debonded with plain end, with or without plastic sleeve, for shear load applications.
HTS-F frame cramps bed into the mortar joint at one end and the other end has an upstand for fixing to the structure.

HTS Special Ties
HTS Fast Track Ties
For use where the inner leaf is to be built in advance of the outer leaf, or where materials used in the two leaves do not course through. The inner tie comprises a length of channel with an anchor which can be bedded in the mortar of the inner leaf; channel ties are used for the outer leaf.
HCT 12/12 HT Ties
For tying masonry back to steelwork; ties are holed to allow bolt-through fixing.
28/15 Channel - supplied with welded clamps for direct fixing to steelwork.

HEA Hammer-Set Wire Ties
For use with concrete backing. Ties are fixed by inserting into a pre-drilled hole and setting the expanding end by striking the tie with a hammer.
LSA Hammer-Set Wire Ties
For use with concrete, brickwork or dense blockwork backing. A fixing plug is inserted into a predrilled hole and the threaded end of the tie is driven into the plug.
